Fluoropolymer coatings (PTFE) applications provide maximum release, coefficient of friction, chemical resistance, electrical insulation, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance and meet the requirements to be FDA compliant. Our knowledge of different manufacturers coating properties allows us to choose the correct product for the needed environment. Fluoropolymer coatings (PTFE) can be applied to many substrates including metals, glass, and ceramics. Most applications require a bake cycle to cure, where the substrate could see temperatures anywhere from 350 degrees to 750 degrees. The substrate is prepared for coating by means of solvent clean or degrease, a prebake to drive out any oils in the substrate, grit blast, prime, and topcoat. These high performance coatings are used in a wide variety of applications. Some industries include Military, Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Marine, Plastic and Food industry.
